Akito Festival: How was it celebrated by our ancestors?

Assyrian new year or Akito festival is celebrated until this day which in past decades been celebrated on first of April but historically it started mid of March.

This year is Assyrian year 6770 which starts on first of April. Ancient Assyrians and Babylonians celebrated this festival in a twelve days celebration with each day has a special meaning and symbolism. This presentation will talk briefly about each one of these days
