Australia falling behind in its care of children

Australia is falling behind other O-E-C-D* countries when it comes to caring for the nation's children.

Globally, the report found circumstances for children have improved since 2000 and Singapore ranked first when it came to protecting and providing for children, followed by Sweden, Finland and Norway, with Slovenia.
