Australia falling behind on many basic human rights obligations – Report

The findings from a report comparing the human rights performance of 33 countries worldwide reveal Australia is failing to meet many of its basic human rights obligations. Experts say Indigenous people, refugees and asylum seekers are especially vulnerable to human rights abuses.
