Australia Profits from Arms Sales to Africa

Source: SBS

SBS News said Australia had been selling ammunition and military technology to war-torn countries in Africa, including in areas where child soldiers are still forced to fight.

While the government aims to tap into the military hardware market, campaigners are pressing for a closer look at some of its customers.
Documents obtained by SBS News reveal Australian companies are secretly selling ammunition and military equipment to war-torn countries in Africa, including countries where serious human rights abuses are feared.
