The 4TH annual Rwandan Cultural Day will be held in Granville, Western Sydney, on the 12th of November.

According to Noel Zihabamwe, Chairman of the Rwandan Community in NSW "the Rwandan Cultural Day is an annual event where people of Rwandan background and friends from other communities meet as a way of breaking isolation and increasing social cohesion".

Noel Zihabamwe also says that “the Rwandan community of NSW is small in numbers compared to other more established communities but we have continuously demonstrated our desire to integrate with other communities by participating in a variety of events and projects conducted by a diverse range of communities and organisations”.

Since its first inception, four years ago, the Rwandan Cultural Day has been growing in strength and this year, organisers of the event are expecting a much higher attendance than before.
