The run-up to Christmas is in full swing - Christmas Eve is just around the corner. In Germany that would normally mean: It's mulled wine and Christmas market time. But Corona has thwarted the Christmas markets. The Nuremberg Christmas Market cannot take place this year either - the first time since the Second World War.
SBS correspondent Daniel Salg met up with Christine Beeck, the head of the Nuremberg Market Office. The two of them talked about what the pre-Christmas season feels like without the Christkindlesmarkt in Nuremberg.
