Many artists turned to the virtual world to showcase their works after most of the art venues including theaters and galleries, closed their doors in response to Covid 19 restrictions
The Corona epidemic imposed a new reality that affected all aspects and details of our lives, including the changes it imposed on the art world.
So what opportunities and challenges do online platforms provide for creators, is it a suitable way to embrace all forms of arts? and will the public embrace it?
On this new shift in the art world, artist Tadros Hanna, who recently launched his first online exhibition titled Home of 2020, says that technology "opened the doors of creativity to all people" and created new opportunities for greater communication with the public and greater expansion of the audience base.
Hanna spoke about the challenges posed using digital platforms to display art, including technical malfunctions and the inability to interact with the public. However, these platforms have been able to transform local exhibitions into global art events available to the public from all over the world.
