Commissioner for Indonesia’s Commission for Violence Against Women, Magdalena Sitorus, explains the latest twists and turns in the case of Baiq Nuril Maknun, a victim of sexual harassment who was nonetheless found guilty of breaching Indonesia’s Information and Electronic Transactions Law.

Given recent developments in Baiq Nuril’s case can we be confident that eventually justice will be done and be seen to have been done? Magdalena Sitorus explains her concerns.
