Educational stories of courage and empowerment to young girls and women ( By Bigoa Chuol)
I am a writer and I was a creative writer consultant for Oxfam on the project. Campaign on “educating young women and also getting more women into teaching or education” said Bigoa. In her children storybook (The Girl who fought for freedom and other stories of courage) there are eight stories of real South Sudanese women who had a major impact on their communities.
She went on to say that education was really a main driver in them changing their lives around and then being empowered and then turning around and empowering others South Sudanese women and also young children particularly girl.
