An alliance of major charities are demanding that Federal government abandons proposed reforms which they say are "unconstitutional, authoritarian and anti-democratic." The charities, which include Amnesty International, Anglicare, Oxfam, the Fred Hollows Foundation and UnitingCare, have written an open letter to the Prime Minister, urging him to review the new regulations. But what exactly are they and how will they affect charities?
