The event called; Heartlands 2019 ' Stories from the other side' was organized by AMES Australia and collaborated with Victorian multicultural commission and Walker Street Gallery & Arts Centre. The event runs from the 4th to 27th of July at Walker Street Gallery & Arts Centre in Dandenong, located in Melbourne Southeast.

According to AMES Australia's website, the Heartlands 2019 is a collection of digital stories about the experiences, challenges and achievements of youth from migrants and refugees background. It offered opportunities for the youth to tell their own unique stories by using accessible digital tools.

When spoken with SBS Karen Program, Saw Eh Htoo Gay Moo said that he is grateful and honored to have the opportunity to talk about Karen history. He is the only Karen youth that participated in the collection of digital stories event.

Saw Eh Htoo Gay Moo arrived in Australia in 2009 after spending more than a decade in Noh Poe refugee camp in Thai-Burmese border. He is a student at AIT School – Academy of Information Technology, studying Diploma of Digital Design. He chose to study the course because he loves to do art. He hopes that one day he would be able to help the Karen people with the skills that he had gained through his experiences.
