Grieving widow welcomes rollout of assisted dying in Victoria

Melbourne widow welcomes rollout of euthanasia laws in Victoria this week Source: SBS

It's illegal to help someone die in Australia, with anyone doing it risking being charged with murder, manslaughter or assisting suicide.

Since June 19, 2019 assisted dying is available in Victoria and it's estimated up to 150 people will choose to end their lives through the program each year.
