Heart attack still the number one killer of Australians

Paper heart in a hand Source: Moment RF

Heart attack continues to be the leading killer in Australia, and heart disease is responsible for a quarter of all deaths. New data shows more than half of all adult Australians have three or more of the risk factors that cause heart disease - poor diet, insufficient exercise, smoking and being overweight. That story by Claire Slattery for SBS News, produced by Praba Maheswaran for SBS Tamil.

Listen to SBS Tamil at 8pm on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays on SBS Radio 2.
