Police have stormed Hong Kong Polytechnic University where students have barricaded themselves in and stockpiled petrol bombs, bricks and other weapons. Broadcast on the 19th of November, 2019.
Protests have rocked the global financial hub since June, with many in the city of 7.5 million people expressing anger at what they say are eroding freedoms under Chinese rule.
The protests started peacefully in early June, sparked by proposed legislation that would have allowed criminal suspects to be extradited to mainland China.
But by the time the bill was withdrawn, the protests had broadened into a resistance movement against the territory's government and the Chinese government.
