How can Indonesia provide a reliable source of electricity to its thousands of islands? This man is making a difference

There are geographical, technical and even cultural problems in bringing a reliable source of electricity to the remote parts of Indonesia. Can a model that uses renewable energy be an effective option?

Amongst other things, Dr Ahmad Agus Setiawan is Assistant Professor at the Department of Nuclear Engineering & Engineering Physics at Gadjah Mada University.  He is also a finalist in the Australia Indonesian Association Awards for 2021.*  Dr Ahmad explains to Sri Dean his recent work and his enthusiasm for collaboration between Indonesia and Australia.
