Marina Zlatanova is a digital designer and self-taught illustrator-writer.
She immigrated from Bulgaria in 1992, and Australia has been her home since.
Her dream was always to become a picture book artist, but it wasn’t until her daughter was born in 2015 and she spent many hours reading to her, that Marina’s childhood great love of children’s picture books was rekindled.
Charlie's Shell is Marina’s first book as an author. The book is the tale of a little snail and the greatest shell there ever was.
