Is this the solution to our plastic recycling problem?

Professor of Chemistry Thomas Maschmeyer at the University of Sydney has helped to develop a technology that makes all plastic recyclable. Plastic is simply turned into oil. Could this be the silver bullet to the plastic recycling problem not only in Australia but in the whole world?
