Media executives defend press freedom

Attitudes about press freedom Source: MEAA

Three media bosses united at a Press Club address in Canberra, pushing for new laws to protect journalists and whistle-blowers in the aftermath of police raids targeting press freedom.

The ABC's Managing Director David Anderson said our journalists have too many impediments in their path including the unacceptable risk of being treated as criminals.
