A world-first app is being rolled out to help migrants and tourists better understand Australia's driving rules in a bid to reduce the road toll.
The multilingual road safety app 'Driveabout' is a learning tool for motorists who speak Arabic, Spanish, Dari, Vietnamese and Mandarin.
The app was first developed to help people in remote Indigenous communities who don't speak English as a first language.
It was produced in eight Indigenous languages to educate First Nations people about driving.
It's hoped the app will be made available in other languages in the future. It is available for free download until October the 13th.
