‘Rettai Jadai’ portrays beauty of friendship; and ‘My Mirror’ warns of on-line friendships

Indian Film Festival of Melbourne 2021 was kicked off on Sunday, August 15th. Due to Covid-19 lockdowns the entire festival will be an online event.

Two short films directed by Franziska Schonenberger, Jayakrishnan Subramanian - ‘Rettai Jadai’ and ‘My Mirror’ are screened at the festival.  Kulasegaram Sanchayan talks to the directors about these short films and about some of their other work.
