Sydney pledges to become safer for women - and so boost its economy

Sydney is being re-designed to make it safer for women and girls at risk of harassment.

The Greater Sydney Commission is urging all businesses and organisations to commit to combatting street harassment and violence towards women and girls.

It says it has formulated an Australian-first charter aimed at preventing gendered harassment and violence.
