Diwali (also Deepavali) is one of the biggest religious festivals in the world.

It is a festival of lights and people of Hindus celebrate it by decoration, praying, gifting, performing religious rituals and have feasts.

Hindus in Australia also celebrate it and in some suburbs, one can see that colourful lights are lit at many houses.

Hindus in Myanmar also celebrated it and Myanmar is a multicultural and multi faith nation but recently there have been clashes between different religious.

The incident was brief but the reconciliation process is long and it is still handled with care.

Than Lwin Khet has more.
