Vegan diet will help solve CO2 emission problem, says PETA

The federal election campaign is in full swing, and as the political parties battle for votes in the community, one issue will soon come up in heated debates.The issue of climate change has been a hot topic in federal elections since 2007. Animal rights organisation PETA - People for the Ethical treatment of Animals - is one group that is campaigning vigorously on the subject of climate change and how to address the problem.PETA Australias campaign co-ordinator is Claire Fryer. Martin Kwakwa spoke with her, first asking Ms Fryer why greenhouse gas emissions and carbon dioxide in the atmosphere should bother us.
