Interview with Todor Yordanov, a businessman from Toronto, Canada, who returned to his hometown to help refugees

International support for Ukraine's sustainability must continue. A priority for Bulgaria is the provision of the necessary humanitarian aid and unimpeded access of war refugees to safe destinations.

Bulgaria has already sheltered more than 55,000 Ukrainians out of total 100,000 who entered the country.

Many refugees from Ukraine arrive in the sea capital every night on the international train Bucharest-Ruse-Varna.

Stressed and anxious about what awaits them and what lies ahead, they say they do not accept what is happening in their homeland.

Todor Yordanov is a businessman from Toronto, Canada, who together with his partner of Ukrainian origin returned to his hometown of Varna to help refugees arriving there with everything they can.
