New South Wales
NSW has recorded 1,405 new locally acquired cases, and five deaths.
Premier Gladys Berejiklian has outlined lifting restrictions from the Monday after NSW passes the 70 per cent double vaccination target for adults who have received both doses of the COVID-19 vaccine.
The stay-at-home rule will no longer apply, and up to five visitors will be allowed in a home where all adults are vaccinated. Hospitality venues, retail stores, sporting facilities and personal services such as hairdressers and nail salons will reopen under the one person per 4sqm rule.
From 11 September, lockdown will end for parts of regional NSW which have recorded zero new cases for at least 14 days.

Victoria
Victoria has recorded another day with 324 new locally acquired cases, with 107 linked to known outbreaks.
Victoria Police to increase its presence to stop residents from Melbourne heading to the country once regional areas ease out of lockdown on 9 September.
Fines for breaching the rules and attempting unauthorised travel to regional areas can be up to $5,500.

Australian Capital Territory
The ACT has recorded 15 new locally acquired cases, with at least eight in the community while infections.
The latest update of the Check In CBR app allows push notifications to be sent to those who have checked in at an exposure site. Also, a card with a QR code is available for anyone who does not have a smartphone.
