First Day: Gurpal Singh left law in India for good coffee in Melbourne

Gurpal Singh had a legal practice in Chandigarh as a Punjab & Haryana High Court when he visited his sister in Melbourne in the year 2006. Little did he know his short visit to Australia would leave such an indelible impression on him that he would make the country his home.

Mr. Gurpal says he fully appreciated Australia's natural beauty and goodness when he returned to India. Once back in his legal practice in his hometown, he couldn't stay more than a month and a half. He only thought about Australia. He had to return. And he stayed.
