Where were Australia's Arabic speaking immigrants born?

Census 2016 data reveals people born in Lebanon make up 24 percent of the 321,000 Arabic speakers in Australia.

Lebanon is still the main source country of Arabic speaking migrants in Australia with 78,000 people saying they were born in Lebanon. According to Census 2016 data this represents 24% of all Arabic speakers in Australia. Iraq is second with 67,000 people saying they were born in Iraq, followed by Egypt with 39,000. The table below shows countries of birth for Arabic speakers in Australia.
