In partnership with Australian Red Cross, SBS Outreach has developed a brand new classroom resource for SBS Learn for this year’s new season of Go Back To Where You Came From, airing across three nights, 2-4 October on SBS.

The classroom resource features source material from across SBS and the International Committee for the Red Cross and encourages students to analyse the context of global refugee crises in 2018, based on the locations set in this year's series; Syria, South Sudan and the Mediterranean (Turkey and Greece).

It also encourages students to develop empathy, think critically and engage with Go Back To Where You Came From as a quality text about refugees.

We are also re-releasing new refreshed editions of teacher notes for Go Back To Where You Came From Seasons 1 through to 3,  launching later this week.
