Less than two weeks from the start of festivities, the organizers of the 63rd Berlinale (February 7th to 17th, 2013) have announced the composition of the jury for the international competition, presided by Chinese filmmaker Wong Kar Wai.

Three European directors currently in the spotlight are to join the jury: Susanne Bier of Denmark, who won an Oscar for In a Better World; Andreas Dresen of Germany, whose merciless Stopped on Track won the Certain Regard award in Cannes in 2011; Athina Rachel Tsangari, representative of the new Greek cinema and double prize-winner in Venice in 2010 for Attenberg.

The group of personalities to attribute the Golden and Silver Bear awards is completed by American filmmaker and director of photography Ellen Kuras, Iranian artiste and filmmaker Shirin Neshat, and American actor Tim Robbins.
