The star of Miss Bala has become the first Mexican Bond girl to be featured in the franchise's 50-year history.

LOS ANGELES (Variety.com) - "Spectre" has cast another Bond girl.

Stephanie Sigman has joined Daniel Craig in the upcoming James Bond film. She joins fellow Bond girls Lea Seydoux and Monica Bellucci, as well as Christoph Waltz and David Bautista.

The pic is filming in Europe with Sam Mendes directing. John Logan penned the script.

No plot details have been released yet on "Spectre," which is set to bow on Nov. 6.

Sigman's casting marks the first Mexican Bond girl to be featured in the franchise's 50-year history.

Sigman's past credits include "Miss Bala," and she was also recently seen in "Pioneer." Other credits include appearances on FX's "The Bridge" and Netflix series "Narcos."
