This European-style action movie features spectacular landscapes and great performances from the leads - and keep your eyes peled for a cameo from Sharon Stone as a ruthless prosecutor.

What's it about?
Go back to where it all began in the first instalment of this fast-paced corporate thriller. Billionaire Nerio Winch, the founder of the powerful and sprawling W Group, is found dead in suspicious circumstances. His adopted son Largo seems his rightful successor, but the reluctant young heir first has to defeat drug traffickers, assassins, militia fighters and back-stabbing traders to fulfill his destiny at the head of the corporation. Largo Winch is the first "serious" action role for stand-up comedian Tomer Sisley who, on top of his good looks, can speak fluently four languages.

What's it about?
The adaptation of Swedish writer Jan Guillou's best-seller (and whose novel Evil also inspired the eponymous Oscar-nominated film available here at SBS On Demand), Agent Hamilton is the Scandinavian response to James Bond. When Hamilton is ordered to investigate the kidnapping of a Swedish engineer in Ethiopia, he soon discovers an international arms conspiracy at top government levels, as well as plans for a terrorist attack on Swedish soil. His loyalties are tested, but the interest of the nation must come first.

His employee Louis decides to take on alone the mission they had planned: following the storks’ migration to Africa to find out why so many of them disappeared the previous season. His travels take him from the heart of Europe to the West Bank and on to the most remote Africa, where Louis becomes embroiled in a horrific mystery and a series of gruesome murders.

Soon, his past entangles itself with the present in a wild and hallucinatory journey.

What's it about?
Public Enemy #1 retraces the life of France's most notorious criminal, Jacques Mesrine, played by Vincent Cassel (Partisan) in his acclaimed, bone-chilling performance. This first part starts in 1960s Paris, as Mesrine returns from the Algerian war, where he fought as a paratrooper. Unable to face the prospect of a regular job and a quiet life, he is quickly drawn to the easy and glamourous lifestyle brought by crime and associates himself with a local gang led by ruthless boss Guido (played by a no less disturbing Gérard Depardieu).

Public Enemy Number 1 (Part 2)

What's it about?
This second part spans the '70s. After his extraordinary escape from the Saint-Vincent-de-Paul prison in Montreal, Mesrine is back in France and meets there the love of his life Sylvie (played by Ludivine Sagnier). Despite the many crimes he commits (kidnappings, robberies...), and thanks to his uncanny talent for disguises, he keeps escaping and taunting the Police, and soon becomes France's "Public Enemy Number One".

What's it about?
Based on the manga series of the same name by Hiroya Oku, this dark Japanese sci-fi franchise follows two teens, who after coming to the aid of a drunken man on the subway tracks, wake up in a room dominated by a mysterious black sphere, Gantz. They soon find themselves equipped with shiny black assassin suits and heavy weaponry, and ordered by Gantz to go on an alien-hunting mission, which will see the survivors being able to return to their normal lives.

What's it about?
This fast-paced, action-packed sequel takes place several months after the events of Gantz. As the missions get increasingly dangerous, Kurono discovers that the endgame for Gantz is quickly approaching with a massive bloody showdown with the aliens.
