American comedy duo Tina Fey and Amy Poehler have teamed up for their first movie since Baby Mama in 2008.

In the trailer for Sisters, Fey and Poehler are lewd thirtysomething siblings channelling their teenage years.

On a visit home, they discover the family house is up for sale.

"This should have been passed on," Fey cries before chucking a tantrum on the front lawn.

Forced to clean out their childhood bedroom, the sisters decide to host one last wild party.

"You've been divorced two years. You can't avoid putting yourself out there forever."

Directed by Jason Moore (Pitch Perfect), Sisters also stars Ike Barinholtz and Maya Rudolph.

Sisters will be in Australian cinemas on January 7 2016.
