The programming across the premiere week of SBS World Movies includes Oscar winners and nominees for Best Picture (Lion), contemporary classics (Spirited Away, Amelie), recent festival favourites (Ash Is Purest White, Rafiki) and more.

SBS World Movies launches in Australia on 1 July and will be broadcast in HD on channel 32,  joining existing channels, SBS, SBS VICELAND, SBS Food and NITV.
