In 1945, seven-year-old Joe Eggmolesse was diagnosed with leprosy. He was taken from his family and transported by rail and sea over 1000km to Fantome Island where he was then incarcerated for the next 10 years. His incredible, poignant story offers a profound insight into one of Australia's hidden histories.

Tom tends the bar owned by his cousin (Gandolfini in his final role), who allows 'drops' of criminal cash to go on at their premises. But they find themselves at the centre of a robbery gone wrong, the ensuing investigation reveals dark secrets from the neighbourhood's past. From Michael R. What's it about?
In Somalia, principled, young husband and father Abdi (Muktar) turns to piracy to support his family. While his wife and child wait for him in Yemen, an outdated and fragile satellite phone is his only connection to all he truly values. Abdi and his fellow pirates hit the high seas and capture a French oil tanker, demanding a hefty ransom. During the long wait for the cash to arrive, Abdi forges a tentative friendship with one of the hostages. When some of the pirates resort to violence, Abdi must make dramatic choices to determine his course.

What's it about?
In 1636, the Qing dynasty attacks Joseon. King Injo (Park Hae-Il) and his retainers, including Choi Myung-kil (Lee Byung-hun) and Kim Sang-hun (Kim Yoon-seok), hide in the mountain fortress city of Namhansanseong. They are isolated from the outside. Meanwhile, Choi Myung-kil insists that they enter into negotiations with the Qing dynasty, but Kim Sang-hun proposes that they keep fighting.

Through lyrical images, Manganinnie journeys across mountains towards the coast with Joanna, a white girl, in search of Manganinnie's vanished tribe. The poignancy of this film derives from the Aboriginal woman's gradual realisation that her people and the tribal way of life are forever gone. It is the story of the Black Drive of 1830 and the genocide of Tasmania's Aboriginal people.
