An Icelandic director’s newest film fails miserably at the box office, worsening his already shaky financial situation. As his money begins to evaporate and his car is repossessed, he pins his hope on an Oscar nomination. Meanwhile, he must deal with his mother, Gogo, who is stricken with Alzheimer’s - setting her stove on fire, flooding her neighbours and generally being a nuisance. This is the acclaimed semi-autobiographical film from Fredrik Thor Fredriksson.
