Horse and car collide in Sydney's west

A horse has been killed after running onto the road and being hit by a car at Marsden Park in Sydney's west.

A horse has died after running onto a road and being hit by a car in Sydney's west.

Police say the horse was hit on Richmond Road in Marsden Park about 3am (AEST) on Friday.

The 35-year-old male driver was unable to avoid hitting the animal, and the horse died at the scene.
