A cyclist is shaken, with cuts and bruises - but was up and back on the bike the next day - after his terrifying crash was caught on camera.

The cyclist, identified only as Anthony, was reportedly riding at 50 kilometres an hour on a freeway near Byron Bay, NSW, when he struck some debris on the road.
The video captures the precisie moment a piece of aluminium enters bike's spokes, collapsing the front wheel and launching the cyclist over the handlebars and up into the air.

One of his riding colleagues swerves dramatically to avoid making the accident worse.

A seperate video reveals the extent of the damage to Anthony's bike.
