For the first time SBS 2 is giving Australians the chance to participate in the world's biggest dating show, the Chinese-produced If You Are The One.
Desperate for love? Tired of dinner for one, scared of dying alone?
Then this could be the romantic break you have been looking for.
Ever since the show hit Australian screens in 2013, it has built up a mass cult following locally with its quirky dating and love suggestions from both contestants and hosts, and bizarre philosophy on love and life.
The contestants' earnestness and the sometimes blunt business-like approach to finding their life partners have proved popular.
Potential contestants must be willing to bare it all, from break-up histories and dating criteria, to their potential partner’s income expectations and favourite body part on the opposite sex.
Those selected will take part in the filming of two Australian specials filmed both in Australia and in Nanjing, China.
In the show, a lone male suitor has to impress a panel of 24 single women, who can then register their interest or disinterest in the man through the use of their podium lights. Chinese show host and ringmaster extraordinaire Meng Fei oversees the action - and sometimes gives blunt advice - in front of a large studio audience.
Love doesn’t usually care which country you’re from - but all entrants must be living in Australia and are required to speak fluent Mandarin and to have a Weibo account.
