A man is in a critical condition in hospital after being injured at a Gold Coast intersection following erratic behaviour.
The 28-year-old allegedly confronted at least two cars at an intersection at Carrara on Wednesday evening, threatening one with a rock and climbing on top of another vehicle.
The drivers contacted police, who arrived at the scene to find the man with a minor head wound and a grazed elbow.
He was taken to Gold Coast University Hospital where his condition rapidly worsened until he was listed as critical by Thursday.
Police are urging anyone with information about the incident to come forward, especially anyone with dashcam footage of the area around the intersection of The Boulevard and Grande Avenue from 8pm to 8.20pm on Wednesday.
