Health warning issued over SA meat

Listeria has been found during routine tests of silverside meat sold through a local supermarket chain.

Listeria has been found in pre-packed silverside meat sold through a South Australian supermarket chain prompting a recall and a health warning.

SA Health says there have been no reported cases of infection from the meat sold through Drakes Supermarkets, but all product is being withdrawn.

The affected meat is labelled as Drakes Premium Gourmet Selection silverside with use-by dates of October 15 and November 5.
