Indigenous women make face masks instead of crafts


Members of the Satere Mawe indigenous community living in Brazil's Amazon have been making facemasks instead of crafts to earn money. The production and sale of handicrafts was banned as part of government measures to stop the spread of the new coronavirus. Now, they are selling face masks outside their community to local residents for 30 cents.
