An abandoned Iraqi resort has grown in popularity with locals. For almost two decades, tourists who had flocked to the lake from nearby cities stopped shortly after the US-led invasion in 2003 that toppled Saddam Hussein. But local tourists have slowly been trickling back, spending their time smoking hookah, grilling fish and gliding across its waters on jet skis.
