A man who allegedly pushed a woman from a first-floor balcony in Sydney has been charged with attempted murder.
A man has been charged with attempted murder after a woman was thrown from a first-floor balcony in inner Sydney.
The woman, 39, was found with serious injuries including fractures at the unit block in Redfern about 9.25pm on Sunday, police say.
She remains in Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in a stable condition.
A 45-year-old man arrested at the scene was charged on Monday morning with causing grievous bodily harm with an intent to murder.
He was refused bail and is due to appear at Central Local Court on Monday.
In an unrelated incident at the unit block, a 34-year-old man allegedly began hitting parked police car with a cricket bat.
He is expected to be charged with malicious damage.
