NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian will visit the United Kingdom and Germany in a bid to attract jobs and investment to the state.

Gladys Berejiklian is set to become the first NSW premier to visit Germany in more than two decades.

Ms Berejiklian will visit Germany and the United Kingdom in August in an effort to attract more international investment to NSW in a bid to create more jobs in the state, her office announced on Saturday.

A major focus of the mission will be attracting further investment in the government's Aerotropolis, which is being built around the new Western Sydney Airport.

"This mission presents unique investment opportunities for NSW given the UK's Brexit plans," Ms Berejiklian said in a statement.

"Some of the deals we are signing on this mission are a direct result of UK and European organisations looking to extend their global footprints outside the EU in a post-Brexit world."

It will be the first time a NSW premier has visited the UK in 14 years.

Ms Berejiklian - accompanied by Minister for Jobs, Investment, Tourism and Western Sydney Stuart Ayres - will meet with key government officials, ratings agencies, manufacturing firms and infrastructure companies in both countries.
