Pakistani Christians seek asylum in Sri Lanka

Mainly Buddhist Sri Lanka is receiving an increasing number of Pakistani Christian asylum seekers.

In recent years, Sri Lanka has been one of the main sources of asylum seekers arriving in Australia.

Catholic Church spokesman in Colombo, Father Xystus Kurukulasuriya, spoke to Zara Zaher.
