You are invited to an information sharing session with Australia’s dedicated Indigenous broadcaster, National Indigenous Television (NITV) - hosted by the South Australian Film Corporation and welcoming special guests from Screen Australia.

Broadcasting as part of SBS since 2012, NITV holds an important and unique place in the media landscape. It provides an essential voice for Indigenous Australians and offers all Australians a window to Indigenous cultural heritage, stories, ideas and aspirations.

The channel is constantly developing and exploring ways to make a greater impact. NITV Channel Manager, Tanya Denning-Orman, welcomes you to discuss the channel’s ongoing development.

The South Australian Film Corporation has long supported and celebrated the telling of First Nations stories on screen by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders. It offers a range of funding opportunities to eligible Australian feature film, TV drama, documentary and transmedia projects that are to be produced or post-produced in South Australia.

Screen Australia’s Indigenous Department supports creatively ambitious projects and people, and imaginative, resonant stories authored by Indigenous Australians.
