The annual National Indigenous Music Awards (NIMAs) glowed with some of the country's finest musicians in Darwin's Ampitheatre on Saturday evening.
Both well-known and up-and-coming artists were acknowledged with diva Jess Mauboy and new star Dan Sultan both named Artist of the Year.
Young rap artist Philly was given the Best New Talent Award and the soulful Thelma Plum took home Song of the Year for "How much does your love cost".
The night was filled with entertainment featuring special performances by the greatly loved Yothu Yindi and Gurrumul to stir the audiences.
