Angela is happily married and recently gave birth to her first child – a daughter, Chloe. The 29-year-old is an accomplished songwriter and singer, in fact, Angela even helped write the music sting for Family Rules titles sequence. Often known as the ‘second mum’ by her siblings because she is the calm voice of reason in their noisy family. She has spoken about how she found healing after the tragic loss of her father when she was just a young woman.

Meet 'The Second Mum'
Like most older siblings, Angela has been labelled as the 'second mother' by her younger sisters because she is the calm voice of reason in this noisy family. The 29-year-old mother is an accomplished singer/songwriter. In fact she even helped write the catchy music sting for the Family Rules titles sequence.

Finding strength through different ways - As the eldest of nine girls, I had to take on the role of being the 'Second Mum' to help Mum out and to be there for my sisters

Keeping busy:

I stayed at University and focused on completing my degree

Support unit:

Good friends and support around

Even though it was hard, I tried to find the humour in anything to just have a bit of laughter

Listening to what Mum said about my Dad and reminiscing on times when he was around and what he taught me

Walking the dog to get out of the house when it became too much

writing music and listening to music

Family time:

Spending quality time with my sisters, we'd stay up late talking

Being honest and being able to speak to Mum about anything

Met the love of my life a couple of months after my Dad passed away who gave me so much comfort, support and the chance to start my own family with him.
