Eye on the world: Nuba culture in Sudan
Sudan's Nuba community spent Saturday at the Nuba Mountains Cultural Heritage Festival in the city of Omdurman that took them from their conflict-ridden history to a celebration of their culture. Many Nuba people have migrated from Nuba Mountains in South Kordofan state to cities to escape poverty and rights abuses in their home place.
