Thousands of people gathered in major capital cities and smaller towns to protest against the Government's inadequate role in protecting Aboriginal children from such harm and highlighted the continued disservice to the Indigenous community.
Political group, Blackfulla Revolution said that the rallies were extremely powerful and called for Australians to continue to support the cause.
"Support your local protests and occupations, but if that's not your thing write a letter, get educated, call a meeting, plot or all actions and stick with the campaign until we succeed. We have to succeed and we need all hands on deck."
